This page contains a gallery of Victoria’s most expensive heritage number plates, sorted in order of their sale price.
I have included all auction sales, as well as private sales which have been mentioned publicly. No doubt there are many more private sales that we are not aware of, so if you know of any please let me know.
Only sales of $75,000 and higher have been included. It may be extended to $50,000 when time permits.
It’s debatable whether or not three of the single-digit plates should be on the list (2, 4 & 9) however the source is reputable, so for now they stay.
