Vic 47 was purchased for a whopping $322k back in 2007 at the Shannons Melbourne Winter Classic Auction.
A news article from 2008 lists Martin Stone as the owner of 47, along with 15, 19 and a number of three and six digit plates.
The previous owner of 47 was reported to be Peter Bartels, owner of the coveted Vic 1 number plate.
