The owner of the Victorian heritage number plate #15 is clearly a fan of the Porsche 911 Turbo.
Many pictures of this plate exist, and in every recent case it is fitted to another 911 Turbo.
The owner of 15 is reported to also own 19, 47, and a number of three and six digit plates.
Furthermore, the owner was reportedly involved in the case against VicRoads when they wanted to issue their “V Plates”.
The “V Plates” were little more than a rip-off of traditional heritage plates, so we all have reason to be thankful.
The 15 plate is reported to have sold at auction in 1998. The actual price is not known, but it is reported that plates 14, 15 and 16 all sold on the day for an average of $75,000.
