Who owns the single digit number plates in Victoria?
There is some conjecture over which individuals and families own which plates, but we’ve done our best to compile the following list.

There are many reports which list Bartels as the owner of Vic 1.

Some reports list Frank Costa as the owner of Vic 3, whilst others list the Zagame family.

Despite the above comments, we have been very reliably informed that ‘6‘ is in fact owned by Amanda Elliott, who is the former wife of prominent businessmen John Elliott.

His “Vic 7” number plate, the first privately registered number plate in Victoria, is estimated to be worth at least $1 million — more than three times as much as his Mercedes.”
